Savannah's Alternative Performing Arts Festival
The Hostess City Hoedown is produced by the Savannah Sweet Tease Burlesque Revue, voted as Connect Savannah's Best Performance Troupe by the community 2012-2020! Bringing you Badass Burlesque since 2013, Savannah Sweet Tease have earned a reputation for bringing diversity to the forefront of body-positive performing arts in the low country.

RITA D'LAVANE
They’re your 2019 Duchess of Funk of the What The Funk?! All PoC Burlesque Festival, Mx. Ohio Burlesque 2022, and the 2023 Headliner of the Dragon Con Burlesque Revue. They are the co-founder of the Savannah Sweet Tease Burlesque Revue and the Hostess City Hoedown.
MAGNOLIA MINXXX
This burly bombshell hit the scene with The Savannah Sweet Tease Burlesque Revue when they began in 2013. Along with being the producer of of The Hostess City Hoedown Festival & Salty Desert Burlesque Festival, she performs regularly and produces Savannah, GA's annual all PoC Show, "Stay Gold | An all PoC Production". She took home the crown as the winner of the very 1st Edition of 1,2,3,TEASE!" was awarded "The Cyclone" Award from RedBone herself in 2018 at Discordia Days & was crowned with "The Golden Smile" Award at GLCC 2018 and the Golden Edge Award in 2020 along with being a featured performer at the premiere of the Salty Desert Burlesque Festival this past August.
ANNE DROGYNOUS
SCAD alum with an MA in Creative Event Management, Anne has been a transgender advocate in the performing arts scene in Savannah since 2017. As 2019's Mr. Savannah winner and local ’drag thing’ favorite performing with House of Gunt, Anne has produced large scale festivals and multiple virtual showcases. They have also managed sponsorships and partnerships for local non-profits.
History
In 2022 Magnolia Minxxx, Rita D’LaVane, and Cassie Caddel created the Hostess City Hoedown. This year Anne Drogynous joins the team bringing even more event production experience to the Festival. Their drive to a create an inclusive & diverse entertainment experience, with a focus on honoring Savannah's local arts community, sets the stage for a Hoedown like no other!
